Automatic Orchestra is a show about the power of music to bring people together.

What happens in Automatic Orchestra?

Audience members are invited (not required!) to create music throughout the show.

A guest band leader will guide the audience as an improvisational orchestra. Actors will perform their roles silently, influenced by the music.

Instruments will be provided, but audience members may bring their own physical instruments, if they prefer. Yes, voices are instruments!

Alternatively, audience members who don’t wish to play anything are welcome to sit silently to absorb the energy of the room, or just hum and tap their toes.

Do I need to be a musical person?

Nope! Automatic Orchestra is for everyone. The goal is to create a kind of spiritual link among every person present, through improvised music. Your presence alone is part of the joy.
