Guided by the enigmatic Ringleader, a Leading Player navigates a fractured reality shaped by loss, where everyday emotions transform into vivid characters within the surreal world of the “Awaken Circus.” Each act embodies a stage of grief—denial’s quiet avoidance, anger’s consuming fire, bargaining’s illusions and distractions, and the pull toward acceptance—brought to life through powerful ensemble choreography, theatrical imagery, and evocative text. As the circus tightens its grip, the Leading Player must confront what has been buried beneath fear and self-protection.
