The United States of a (not so) distant future has passed the Standardization of American Values Enactment (SAVE) which has led to the erasure of all people groups, ideologies, and expressions that do not reflect America's core, western, heteronormative values. The final phase of this is the closure of any and all LGBTQIA+ -related businesses and the deportation of those marked as "undesirable." Our story follows the plight of one such business owner, Zipporah Cain, owner of the Pink Pony Club and a disabled, veteran, immigrant, trans-woman born in Haiti though raised in America. She is the victim of state-sanctioned violence and discrimination in front of the eyes of her bar manager, Aiden, who must now fight for her release alongside their straight business acquaintance, Chris. Along the way, and with a sick Chappell Roan playlist, we see the stories of other "undesirables" as they try to navigate their lives in this new climate where sheer existence is criminalized.
