Directed by Jess Keller and produced by Rick Todd and Tiona Langley, the film is an Adrenaline Films production that honors the trailblazers, advocates, and community builders who helped shape Orlando into an inclusive city. It reflects on resilience, pride, and the people who helped create “Queertown” — a nickname for the city’s LGBTQ+ heartland.
It features original voices and stories from notable figures such as Patty Sheehan, Debbie Simmons, Sam Ewing, Darcel Stevens, Nikole Parker, and Michael Wanzie with an original song by Ginger Minj.
This screening is a benefit for The Center Orlando.
